was once a thriving whaling station but is now a
restful place where you can relax & unwind and soak up the ambience.
The harbour is scattered with commercial,
charter & pleasure boats. Fishing is a favourite pastime of most
residents and regular holidaymakers. Charters can be arranged if
required.
Moeraki Boulders are up the coast and have not moved for thousands
of years, (so popular the locals call them the eighth wonders of the
world).
Swimming at the safe beaches, sighting of the Hector Dolphins
in the Harbour, leisurely walks around the village, relaxing on the
deck at Fleurs Restaurant. Or having a quiet meal & drink at the
local taverns.
